Designing, Assessing, and Managing Microcredentials
This training programme introduces the fundamentals of designing, assessing, and managing microcredentials in professional and educational contexts.
The course is structured into three weekly online sessions (2 hours each), complemented by asynchronous individual activities using dedicated learning materials.
1 – Lead and Manage Microcredentials
The first session focuses on helping participants become familiar with the ecosystem required to validate competencies through microcredentials.
2 – Validate Skills through Evidences
The second session focuses on assessment methodologies, which are essential to ensure that a microcredential represents a verified competence rather than simply participation in an activity.
3 – Design Digital Credentials
The third session focuses on the design process behind digital credentials, including how to structure learning challenges, define competencies, and establish quality controls.
The programme is designed for professionals in education and training, HR, recognition of prior learning, public administration, and industry who want to implement microcredential systems in their organisations.
Participants who successfully complete the challenges will receive three microcredentials: Microcredential Designer and Microcredential Assessor.
